The Iran Times is an independent newspaper with no affiliation with any political party or faction. The Iran Times Corporation was founded in Washington D.C. in 1970, in accordance with U.S. federal and local regulations.
Since its establishment, The Iran Times has been published every Friday and distributed in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Far East.
In contrast to most U.S. foreign language and minority group periodicals, The Iran Times has since its inception enjoyed a consistent expansion in its facilities and readership.
From among the hundreds of thousands of Iranian nationals who live outside Iran, many tens of thousands are regular readers of The Iran Times.
The majority of subscribers are highly educated university graduates with incomes well above average, nearly 10 percent of The Iran Times subscribers are physicians.
In addition to the news from international agencies, Iranian, American, European, and even Arabic and Russian periodicals, The Iran Times also publishes collections of pertinent articles and political editorials from numerous publications all over the globe.
